No formation and its reduction through co-flow methane reburn in a pulverised coal combustion process under various overall equivalence ratio

Computational simulation has been carried out to investigate the NO formation/depletion in pulverized coal combustion process. Newlands Bituminous is injected along with career air through a central hole of an axi-symmetric burner. A certain amount co-flow methane coaxially as reburn fuel. The effect overall equivalence ratio on formation and are mainly focused this study. Species concentration for various species also investigated, because both depletion related closely concentration. From study it observed that, at φ=0.8 1.0, although rate Thermal-NO, Prompt-NO Fuel-NO high but due narrow reaction zone higher velocity, weak field observed. On other hand, (ratio φ=3.0, 6.0 9.0). It observed, maximum reduction efficiency φ=0.8, 1.0 3.0 between 1% 7%, whereas φ=6.0 9.0, 27% 34% respectively. Therefore, injection method more suitable highly rich mixture conditions. Moreover, percentage burnout relatively condition.
